thumb_1-IMG_0817This project was born as a family idea in the summer of 1996 after a tour through the farm ,Rafael and his wife Virginia decided to begin a project that over the years became one of the most important tourist attractions Villa Corrieor Bijagual and passage of "Las Lapas".

Rafael Chaves Vindas and Virginia are the parents of Alexander and Vanessa together are the basis of this family over the years they have seen its growth, also with the arrival of daughter Sofia's marriage Vanessa and Omar.

This project is developed on an estate of 200 hectares owned by the family Chaves Vindas, who is now reforested with Teak and Melina.

thumb_IMG_0828The property was purchased in the 70`s by the family and used for livestock until the '90s,  here they discover the use of the waterfall as a touristic attraction which was always on the farm, but due to it difficult access was never possible to get there.

In 1996 they begin the first attempts to reach a flat trail to the waterfall, but the steepness of the mountain the attempt failed.

thumb_IMG_0851That same year, after making a mountain hike through the forest to the waterfall with Mr. Enrique Tovar, a journalist at the time of the Nacion newspaper, began to open a zigzagging path that could reach the mountain to the waterfall, and end of year 96 was completed the construction of the trail and 10 horses were purchased to start the ride through the farm and a walk to the waterfall.
